Grand Cayman Island

This international trip was vastly different from my usual travels as I was with a group and didn’t plan the itinerary. If I ever go back, I would love to see some more of the Cayman Islands and visit some museums. Here are just a few pics and notes about the trip:

Seven Mile Beach was nice and calm. It also offered some great opportunities to snorkel!

There were rainy moments during the trip, but luckily a rainbow popped out to mark the rain’s end.

Look! A starfish!

This isn’t my luggage (I brought only a backpack as usual), but I loved this luggage tag. It is humorous and would certainly help you identify your bag from lookalikes.

I was surprised at how many Jamaicans were working in the Cayman Islands. From shuttle drivers to restaurant workers. I mention this because ours was a group of all Jamaicans! But then again, the two islands are pretty close to one another.

Overall, this trip to Grand Cayman Island was a much more relaxed pace of travel than I am used to. But it is sometimes beneficial to step out of usual habits.

Bonus

Getting caught in the rain (P.S. I braved the rain once a mosquito bit me! lol)
