Seven Years Later

It’s been seven years since I last wrote in this blog! I’ve missed it, and even thought about it many times over the years. It has been great to finally come back to it and see what I was writing during the time periods that I was consistent. Let’s see what there is to catch up on:

I’ve continued to travel internationally (I’ll do my best to write posts catching up on those trips)
In the year after my last post, I moved from Madrid to Valencia, Spain

Then I returned to the US

I lived in the “mountain west” for a few years (I always feel so comforted by mountain landscapes)

Backseat passenger on a motorcycle ride through some of the mountains of Colorado

Then I moved farther west to the desert, which is a landscape I find inspiring (it’s amazing how much can thrive in a place that seems to be the antithesis of living things)

I’m going to try to get one post published each week. This means they may not all be perfect. At this point, it’s just about catching up on my travels of the past seven years. That’s a lot of content! I’ll try to do things in a bit of chronological order. That said, I know it may be difficult for me to remember certain details or events for the older trips. I’ll use pictures and perhaps old emails to jog my memory. Also, I just threw the once-a-week thing out there because that felt appropriate. But hey, they say setting goals is a great way to get things done, right?
